Probably the fastest car during the 2005 season and certainly during the second half, the MP4-20 and McLaren were slow out of the blocks in the 2005 season and this, coupled with some misfortunes and Renault gaining because of them, ultimately prevented them from claiming the World Title.
Kimi Raikkonen certainly showed his talent in 05 by not only blowing away his teammate Juan Pablo Montoya but by demonstrating his edge of the seat driving style that is always exciting to watch.
No 'cruise and collect' mentality here.
