Despite being in the hunt for the championship in 2008, BMW Saubers fortunes
took a downturn in 2009 when their car was found to be woefully off the pace.
As the season drew on BMW decided they would pull out of F1 at the end of the
2009 season despite a recent turn up in form which saw the cars edge their way
up the grid.
The team are still to find a buyer for 2010 even though they have submitted
their entry.
Drivers Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld will surely be on other teams shopping
lists anyway.
