Ferrari, along with McLaren, failed to find their form at the start of the
season allowing teams such as Brawn and Red Bull to take full advantage and keep
it for the remainder of the season.
Ferrari suffered a blow in Hungary when Felipe Massa crashed his car after being
hit on the head at high speed with a spring from Barrichello's Brawn.
Although critical at the time, Massa fortunately recovered quickly but to allow
proper healing had to be sidelined for the rest of the season where Fisichello
took over the seat after a brief period with Badoer standing in.
