From the F1-S-R 1994 F1 mod for rFactor comes the Rothmans Williams
Renault FW16.
The FW16, designed by Adrian Newey, was admittedly a
nervous and twitchy car to drive from the start of the season.
Certainly not one of Neweys best.
3 times champion Ayrton Senna joined
Damon Hill for the 94 season which was to see tragedy at Imola when Senna
lost his life in this car after crashing at Tamburello corner on lap 7 after
a race restart. Worse still was that this was not the first
fatality of that weekend with Roland Ratzenberger succombing the day before.
David Coulthard partnered Hill for the rest of the season which climaxed
with Damon Hill and Michael Schumacher fighting it out for the title.
Even this was to end in controversial circumstances when the two came
together in the final race handing Schumacher the title.
